looking for a (volunteer) feminist graphic designer

We are looking for a volunteer graphic designer to assist with the development of our brand.

Our ideal designer would be a self-identified feminist with a commitment to the values of our initiative, and someone who is interested in growing their portfolio by joining a growing initiative.

Time commitment will be approximately 5-10 hours per week, project-depending. And you can be located anywhere in the country - it is not a requirement that you be based out of Montreal.

Responsibilities would include, for example: acting as the checkpoint for graphic design coming out of other law faculties (making sure their portraits and captions are on point); assisting with adding captions to portraits at the national-level, starting with the photos taken and captions gathered during our national forum; formatting the annual report and snazzing up other documents produced by LNFB; helping create graphics for social media to spice up our website and online presence; and anything else you think could help make our brand coherent and classy!

Interested designers should send a short description of why they are interested in this position, and short portfolio of their work (even if just a link to a website) to national [at] lawneedsfeminismbecause.ca, or through our Facebook page.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, closing on July 31st, 2017 as we hope to have our pleasure of meeting (virtually or in-person) with the new graphic designer during the first week of August to scheme and dream with them.

We look forward to hearing from you!
