LNFB x ACCESS photo campaign

This year, McGill's Law Needs Feminism Because Chapter is kickstarting its photo campaign by collaborating with Healthy Legal Minds to draw attention to the issue of access to mental health and wellness (or lack thereof) as a law student or lawyer.

Unlike in past years, we will not be photographing faces — instead, we will be capturing your hands representing your connection to mental health. They can be interacting with another person’s hands, making a gesture, or holding an object. That gesture or object can be anything—a cup of coffee that gets you through a long day, a family heirloom that reminds you why you’re studying law, the hand of your closest friend, a bottle of medication, an important or particularly stressful book, you tearing up an exam. These photographs can represent either the light and the dark sides of our demanding education and profession, or both at the same moment.
